Completions for 2014

I am very excited to track my progress this past year. I was disappointed last year when I couldn't really see all my completions for the year. So I made up a tab for completions for the year of 2014 and each time I posted a blog with a completion I labeled it.
This has made a big difference for me this year. I see that I have more completions than I had thought.
I will start with January and proceed forward. I wish I knew how to make a collage of the pictures but this will have to do.

First off in January.

This quilt was all plaid and stripes or re-purposed shirts. All of the 2 1/2 inch squares are from my pre-cut drawers.

This quilt is also from pre-cut squares. They are from my 3 1/2 inch drawer and is the last quilt made from these pre-cuts. There were a total of 3 quilts and I no longer have any 3 1/2 inch squares. I found that I just was not using these so I wanted to use up the ones I had cut up already. Yeah! Old scraps are gone.

These are two embroidery completions. I haven't done any more embroideries this year.

This quilt is my Smith Mountain Morning from Bonnie Hunter. I just love this quilt.

This is my completion for March. I call it Shadow Box.

This is a quilt for an old co-worker. It was completed in April.

.
This is another charity quilt where I used up a bunch of pre-sewed half square triangles and 2 1/2 inch squares all from stash by Bonnie Hunter's inspiration. This is an August completion.

My cute flock of chickens completed in September.

My Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt. Love it!

My hexie table runner that started out to be a queen size quilt. Oh well, I love it as it is.

This is my husband's memory quilt. I really like the way it turned out.

My final completion for the year of 2014. This has been a great year for both old and new projects. I think 2015 will be more of the same.

  1. Love all your quilts - and other projects. I especially love the last quilt. Such pretty colors. and scrappy X2. I see some of the strips are pieced, too. Good going! Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
    Hugs and Happy New Year
